Are you working on getting certified as a building inspector or fire inspector? Or do you know folks in your office who are? The School of Government is once again offering Law and Administration for Building Code Officials on March 14 and 15 in Chapel Hill.

The Law and Administration course is an overview of North Carolina's building regulation system and is designed for the education and training of building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire prevention code enforcement officials. With the successful completion of the Law and Administration course and others specified by the North Carolina Code Officials Qualification Board, course participants will be eligible to take the State examination for inspector certification.

Durham Deputy City Attorney Sofia Hernandez will be the lead instructor.
